What is Not Allowed on Pick-Roll
To ensure a secure environment for our users, we prohibit the following activities on our platform:
- Spam: Unsolicited advertising, bulk messaging, or any form of commercial harassment
- Promoting violence: Calls for violence, terrorism, or funding terrorist organizations
- Illegal sexual content: This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), bestiality, or non-consensual sharing of explicit content.
- Illegal activities: Actions such as child exploitation, selling illegal goods (e.g., drugs, weapons, forged documents), or sharing personal data to harass or intimidate (doxing).
These examples are illustrative and non-exhaustive.
How We Moderate Content
To counter abuse, Pick-Roll uses a combination of automated systems and human moderation to review public content and process user reports. Our goal is to apply the least restrictive measures to maintain a safe environment, while taking decisive action against malicious content. Restrictions involving critical content are reviewed by human moderators to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Actions We May Take
If we identify policy violations, Pick-Roll may:
- Temporarily or permanently limit certain functionalities of your account, such as your ability to send messages or join public groups.
- Label accounts, bots, or groups involved in impersonation or fraud with “FAKE” or “SCAM” markers visible to all users.
- Remove or delete posts, groups, or accounts involved in severe violations.
Where applicable, users will be notified of restrictions placed on their accounts and provided with guidance to lift them, unless restricted by law. Mistakes will be corrected promptly, with restrictions updated or removed as necessary.
Recommender Systems
Pick-Roll does not use algorithms to amplify trending content. Search results are ranked based on relevance to the query, popularity, and verification status, with localized results prioritized. When exploring groups or channels, users may see suggestions for similar channels based on shared subscribers.
